I am a writer. Words are my craft. I shape them to inform, inspire, and persuade. I’ve mastered the art of copywriting and editing. As a grant writer, I have built grants that open doors, and I lead with purpose as a consultant and coach. I’m a journalist, writer, researcher, youth advocate, and crisis interventionist. Above all, I am a proud single father with two amazing adult kids! I come from the Midwest, where the land is hardy and the people are compassionate. I carry its grit, gratitude, and resilience. With a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, I have steered organizations as COO, Executive Director, and CEO. I have led in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. As an entrepreneur, I have built my own ventures from the ground up. Life has tested me. I’ve walked through fire and risen from the ashes.
